For almost a century...

Scouting has instilled in young men the values and knowledge that they will need to become leaders in their communities and country.

Scotch School Clean-up

Pack 100 pitched-in to help clean-up the Scotch Elementary landscape.  We cleaned-up the beds, spread 15-yards of mulch, picked-up trash, and swept/blew the sidewalks.  Pack 100 donated four planters of pansies.  Den 11 planted a 20’ Bradford Pear Tree.  Den 10 & 12 also planted a 20’ Bradford Pear Tree.
These Pack 100 scouts from Gretchko , Scotch, and Roosevelt and their families helped at the clean-up:
Den 1 - Dane Scobie, Noah Thoma, Tim Webster
Den 2 - Joe Grant, Cody Kallay
Den 10 - Davis Boos, Brad Horvath, Aaron Strager
Den 11 - Zach Brough, Joe Garascia, Scott Grant, Cameron Maybodi, Jake Plyer, Spencer Vagg, Cody Wilson
Den 12 - Josh Plyer
Den 13 - Kyle Crane, Zach Kolbusz, Chris Nyquist
Scorpion Patrol - Danny Finn, Sean Flaherty, Cameron Frank, Brendan Gimby, Dimitri Hubenka, Jacob Thoma
The appearance of the school grounds improved remarkably in just 1½ hrs.  It is amazing how much can be accomplished in a short amount of time when many people help.
This project is registered with the Good Turn for America program.  Everyone who participated received the 2007 rocker to add to their Good Turn for America patch.
Thank you Pack 100 families.
Thank you also to Katrina Crane (Scotch PTO) for her coordinating help and thanks to Chad’s Landscaping for the great deal on the trees.

Den 13 Leaves No Trace

Wolf Den 13 completed their "Leave No Trace" requirements by doing a trash pick up of the West Bloomfield Nature Preserve" mapped trails. They picked up bottles, cans, cigarette butts, rope, aluminum foil and other trash left by hikers before them. While they were cleaning the trails they identified some trees, nuts, bat houses wood duck houses and found Poison Ivy.Thank you for being stewards of the environment.
